The Third District of Kansas City is swarming with shifty, politicians who think that truth is relative. Unfortunately, these people represent our interest. It's unfortunate because residents are placed in positions where their defense against the government is compromised by incompetent politicians. Politicians are supposed to promote the interest of the people; not their cronies. The result, in this case, is eminent domain.
The Wendell Phillips neighborhood was sold to the lowest bidder by a person "the people" elected to office. That's a fine way to garner support from constituents and a sure-fire way to avoid re-election in the future. Message to the perpetrator: Enjoy it while it lasts...
We've been trying to communicate to Kansas City, MO public officials that they selected the wrong site for this police campus. We've been completely ignored. Now, we're claiming victory with a recall effort to unseat Councilman Reed. It won't stop there. We're switching up the game.

It's Sunday before Memorial Day and I'm more motivated than ever to get the requisite signatures for the recall. We' had a good collection of sigs yesterday but today will be even better.
